Basic principles of resistors, operational amplifiers, capacitors, inductors and transformers. DC and AC circuit analysis techniques (Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, mesh analysis,nodal analysis and circuit theorems). Steadystate AC phasor analysis, including power and power factor. Students cannot receive credit for both ENGR 230 and ENGR 232. Three lecture hours. Prereq: MATH 252. Coreq: PHYS 221.
