An introductory course designed for science majors that investigates cell and molecular biology including biochemical processes, cellular function, genetics and the biology of microbes. Lab experiences include the collection, analysis and interpretation of cellular and molecular data. Three one-hour lectures and one two-hour lab. Prereq: BIOL 130. Students may not receive credit for both BIOL 140 and BIOL 110.
