Advanced theories of bonding and structure in inorganic chemistry with emphasis on ligand field theory, bioinorganic chemistry, and organometallic chemistry. Spring semester. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours. Prerequisites: Chemistry 333, 371 with grades of C or better; Mathematics 212; Physics 104/184 or 231/281. Laboratory/Studio course fee will be assessed.
