Contributions of Latin American women writers to the social, economic, and political institutions of Latin American culture. Readings from literary selections in several genres. Topics will include gender roles, systems of authority, masculine/ feminine representations of reality, and the concept of "feminine" writing. Ondemand. Prerequisite: English 121 or 122. No foreign language credit. May be registered as Modern Languages 302. Credit not allowed in both Modern Languages 302 and Women's Studies 302.
