A survey of the invertebrate phyla up to the chordates with an emphasis on their evolution, morphology, and physiological adaptations. Fall or summer semester, alternate years. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 2 hours. Prerequisite: Biology 122 or equivalent with a minimum grade of C. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
