This course is designed as an introduction to the research methodolo-gies and major theories of developmental psychology. Physical, cog-nitive, social, emotional, and personality development are explored from conception to death within the context of socio-cultural background. Students are expected to demonstrate understanding and comprehension of content through course examinations and out-of-class writing assign-ments. Prereq: At least one semester of sociology, psychology, or anthropology course work at the high school level or beyond, or c/i. (fall/odd-numbered years)
