Current developmental processes and concepts drawn from selected invertebrate studies, but with major emphasis on experimentation in higher vertebrates. Laboratory explores vertebrate development through embryological slides, films and experimentation. Spring semester. Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 4 hours. Prerequisite: Biology 122 with a minimum grade of C; Biology 313 and 325 recommended. Pre-or Corequisite: Chemistry 352/354. Approval of the instructor in some cases. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
