This course provides an introduction to Life Guarding techniques lead-ing to certification in American Red Cross Life Guarding. This certifi-cation includes First Aid, CPR, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Comprehension of course content is determined through American Red Cross National Certification exams in CPR, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and Life Guarding and First Aid. Skill proficiencies are assessed through several scenarios that include all course skills. Prereq: American Red Cross swim skills test. (fall)
