This course is designed to provide knowledge of and experience with effective methods, techniques, and materials for teaching visual arts, drama, and music to children as part of an integrated curriculum in the elementary grades. Teacher Education candidates engage in experiences with the creative and critical experiences with the arts. They will design integrated arts instruction while learning how to document and assess student progress. Candidates work directly with children in microteaching or field experience. $20 Course Fee. Prereq: Admission to TEP, ART 101, DR 101, and either MUS 101 or 2 credits of any MUS 116/316/165/365. Coreq: ED 379. (fall/spring)
