Provides an introduction to the themes of American and Canadian regional geography including environmental, political, linguistic, economic, social diversity, and spatial relationships. Special emphasis will be given to coverage of the native peoples of North America. Students will demonstrate understanding of course content through in- and out-of-class writing assignments.
