This course is a methodology course that helps students learn strategies for tutoring in an education position. Effective instruction in reading, writing, spelling, phonemic awareness, comprehension skills, and math will be discussed and demonstrated. This course requires a 60-hour tutoring experience in a classroom and/or community-based program. Prereq: ED 270 and either MATH 105 or 106. (spring)
