The transformational forces of globalization and technology are radically challenging competitive strategies, business operations, and organiza-tional structures as they are known today. Montana's economy is intimately tied to global business trends, hence this course is intended to provide a unique learning opportunity that is designed to broaden individual horizons, break parochial perspectives, and challenge conventional wisdom. The course will cover theory and practice of international management in a global environment, a firm grasp of Internet-based workgroup capabilities, an in-depth comprehension of global business challenges and opportunities, deeper insights into critical management issues, and greater cross-cultural understanding-in essence, a management tool for practical application for UMW graduates. This course will challenge participants to realize their full leadership potential and become outstanding future managers in the global business environment. Prereq: Junior standing. (fall)
