The study of how a computer operates, communicates, and uses storage devices is the primary focus of this course. Special emphasis is given to topics relating to computer architecture and operating systems. Students will gain hands-on experience troubleshooting, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining both personal PCs and networked systems. At the end of the course students will have covered the competencies required in the A+ core exam. $15 Course Fee. Prereq: COMS 101, or c/i. (fall)
