This course covers the essential components found in telecommuni-cation systems including content relating to data transmission, signal propagation, encoding and decoding, multiplexing, channel capacity, microwave and satellite communication, and computer networking. Students will also be able to utilize the Internet for research and communication purposes including home page development, e-mail transactions, and development of e-commerce strategies.
