This course introduces the structures and working principles of the different hardware units of a computer. Computer systems organization, the digital logic level (gates and circuits, memory), micro-architecture level (data path, microinstructions), The instruction set architecture level (instruction format, addressing) and parallel computer architectures are discussed.
