All organizations purchase for use and some(middlemen) purchase for both use and resale. A multitude of buying principles has developed separately for each of these purposes but will be studied together in this unique course. Buying in both instances is designed to satisfy the needs of other than the one(s) doing the buying. Organizational and customer need satisfaction act as the motivations for buyers who must serve well in order to succeed. Prerequisite: MKTG 3010.
