A course designed to prepare prospective health educators to teach using an organized, sequential K-12 plan with information and skills theory need to become health-literate, to maintain and improve their health, to prevent disease, and to reduce risky health-related behaviors. Special emphasis will be placed on developing age appropriate lesson plans for health classes.Observations are required in elementary and secondary schools. Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education.
