A course designed to combine several science disciplines, neuromuscular activities, circulation and respiratory, metabolism, environmental aspects of exercise, fatigue and training, health and physical fitness. The course will describe and explain the functional responses and adaptations that accompany single and repeated bouts of physical exercise. Laboratory experiences will also be provided to augment concepts covered. Prerequisites: HPSS 2310 or BIOL 221 and 222.
