A course designed to offer the major theory and practice in exploratory experiences, lead-up activities, low organized games (for classroom, gymnasium, out-of doors), drills, and self-testing activities primarily for use in elementary physical education programs. A study of factors that make up desirable elementary physical education programs will be included. Suggestions as to how these activities may be adapted to use at secondary levels and in recreational situations will be discussed. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education Program.
