A course which focuses on an analysis of the policies, procedures, practices, and regulations relevant to attracting, retaining, and directing a competent work force. Topics include employee recruitment and selection, job analysis, training and development, compensation and benefits, performance appraisal, and labor relations. Special attention will be paid to the relevant federal laws and regulations. Prerequisite: MGMT 3010.
