The ideas, institutions, processes, and behavior associated with modern democratic political systems are emphasized, The meaning of such concepts as freedom, authority, equality, and constitutionalism is explored in depth. Required of all Political Science majors. POLI 1010 is a prerequisite for all upper-level Political Science courses. Course does not satisfy the Social Science requirement of the General Education Core.
