An intensive introduction to counseling, with special emphasis upon the nature and problems of correctional guidance counseling. Attention is devoted to the recognition and diagnosis of the psychological problems, as well as development of acceptable counseling methodology. Development of oral competency is stressed, as students participate in mock counseling sessions. (Elective)
