An interdisciplinary approach to the study of urban problems. The course is designed to provide the opportunity for in-depth analysis of selected issues. Each seminar will focus on one aspect of the city (e.g. gentrification/ renewal, the urban ghetto, suburbanization). Prerequisites: GEOG 377 or SOCL 217.
