Individual research, directed by a member of the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Results of the research will be reported in a thesis, published paper, or off-campus presentation. Enrollment by invitation of the Department. Students will normally have completed 90 semester hours with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 and have completed at least 22 hours in physics (including PHYS 372) with a grade point average of 3.30.
