Description of sedimentary rocks, introduction to stratigraphic concepts, and interpretation of sedimentary facies and sequence relationships. Topics include the use of facies analysis, lithostratigraphy, biostratigraphy, and chronostratigraphy in the interpretation of sedimentary basin history.
