This course is designed to acquaint the student with readers with special needs by providing ongoing remediation through tutorial sessions. For assessment and remediation of reading difficulties, the class offers teaching strategies, techniques, materials, and assessment instruments that will be applied during tutorial sessions. Reporting progress to a child's parents and school personnel is included. Credits: 3(2-2) Offered when demand is sufficient
