Representative offerings are The Environmental Spirit, Slavery and the Civil War, and The Puritan Legacy. (May be taken for credit twice under different subtitles.) NOTE: Some sections of ENGL 239 featuring a significant concentration on film studies may be scheduled 3(2-2) to permit extended time for the viewing and discussion of films.Credits: 3(3- 0) Offered every fall
