Studies of European literature in translation dealing with selected periods, styles, genres, themes, and writers. Typical offerings are medieval literature, Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, Romanticism, French novels, and Ibsen and Strindberg, (May be taken for credit twice under different subtitles.)
