This is a continuation of CSCI141, Introduction to Computer Science. Students will continue to develop the three methods of inquiry introduced in CSCI141. Topics incude abstract data types, combinatorial tools for computing algorithmic efficiency (e.g., summation formulae, permutations), advanced techniques for correctness proofs (e.g., loop invariants), and further development of laboratory techniques.
