A course to familiarize students with the theory of analytical chemistry. Particular emphasis is given to the use of instrumental methods for quantitative analysis. Topics include include calibration methods, error analysis, electroanalytical chemistry, optical and mass spectroscopy, and separation methods. Prerequisites: CHEM 216 and CHEM 213.
