An in-depth examination of television news reporting techniques. Students cover events and issues either on campus or in the surrounding community and create television news packages. Legal issues such as libel, slander, and shield laws are also examined as they relate to television news reportage. Prerequisites: COMN 261 and COMN 267. Credits: 3(3-0) Offered once every two years
