A study of economic theory and public policies as applied to environmental problems. Emphasis is given to the role of market failure in explaining the existence of pollution, to alternative strategies for pollution control and environmental management, and to problems associated with growth. Prerequisites: ECON 101 and junior standing. Restricted to School of Business majors and minors. Others may seek permission from the School of Business.
