This course provides an overview of the goals and methods of forensic anthropoogy, which is the study of human remains relating to matters of law. Students will learn how to evaluate the forensic context as well as how to establish a biological profile of an individual (sex, age, ancestry and stature). Special attention will also be paid to determining pathological anomalies, evidence of trauma, and time since death, as well as learning crime scene investigation procedures. Credits: 3(3- 0).
