Emphasis is placed on the skills and conditioning necessary to pursue recreational bicycling with a 1 0-speed bike. Following an introduction to bicycle maintenance and safety rules, the course consists of bicycling trips of varying duration. Each student must have access to a multi-speed bicycle. May be taken twice for credit. This course meets for only half the semester. Credit/No credit grading.
