An examination of ecological principles and concepts and the evolutionary basis of ecological relationships at the community, population, and species levels of organization. Class discussion will focus on ecological and evolutionary processes, including ecosystem and community function, population dynamics, population genetics, natural selection, biogeography and speciation.
