An introduction to contemporary and traditional understandings of color and how color functions expressively in various forms of art. Course presents contemporary and historic theories of color classification and interaction, the perceptual interaction of color, the creative and expressive use of color in studio art projects and the use of color in art, in cinema and in digital media. This course satisfies the Core Curriculum requirement in Arts.
