3 hours. (1 hour lecture, 4 hours laboratory). Advanced CAD course with emphasis on creation of models to support rapid prototyping, CNC manufacturing processes and mold making. Includes complex surfaces (NURBS, polygon meshes) the trimming and joining to create complex parts. Utilizing the parts created to design and draw mold cavities from which parts can be molded. Prerequisite: MFGET 160 Manufacturing Graphics.
