1 hour. (2 hours laboratory). Laboratory activities designed to verify the properties of engineering materials using standard testing equipment and procedures. Testing of materials in tension, compression, shear, torsion, and bending in accordance with ASTM standards. Individual laboratory reports requiring the use of manual and computer assisted data collection and analysis techniques. Prerequisite or corequisite: MECET 423 Mechanics of Materials or equivalent.
