3 hours. An introduction to methods used to design computer applications. The course will explore traditional and object oriented methods used for the analysis and design of large application systems. It will focus on Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object Oriented Design (OOD) methodologies. Prerequisite: CSIS 250 Principles of Software Design, CSIS 325 Advanced Visual Basic Programming or permission of instructor. May be taken for honors.
