3 hours. An in-depth scientific knowledge base relevant to selected pathophysiological states confronted in primary care is explored. This information provides a basis for the formulation of clinical decisions related to diagnostic tests and the initiation of therapeutic regimens. Age specific and developmental alterations are correlated with clinical diagnosis and management. Application is made through age-appropriate examples. Prerequisite: Admission to graduate nursing program.
