2 hours. Exploration of advanced family nursing through theories of human and family development, client and family assessment and health promotion across the lifespan. Family interviewing techniques, assessment tools, health education/ promotion, case management, and a population focus in a rural health care environment are emphasized. Prerequisite: Admission to the RN to BSN/MSN or MSN program or special permission. Corequisite: NURS 724 Client/Family Health: Theory, Assessment, and Promotion Practicum. May be taken for honors.
