3 hours. Studio experience directed toward giving greater scope to compositional problems and the development of a personal imagery. Earlier achievements are reconsidered with the exception that advanced painting problems will be based on new experiences. Improved technical skills are balanced with increased freedom of expression. Prerequisite: ART 377 Painting II. May be taken for honors. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours.
