This course provides an introduction to the world's major religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Central to the understanding of each will be knowledge of: Location and history of the origins of the faith, especially in relation to world history? the difference between philosophy and religion, and where each fits? basic theological concepts? and social teachings.
