Prerequisite: 15 hours of completed coursework, minimum GPA 2.0, permission of the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. This program is designed for students with an intended major in Science and Technology to explore and/or gain work experience related to their major and anticipated career goals. Students may enroll for one (1) four (4) hours of credit which will be graded on a credit/no credit basis. A minimum of forty hours of work experience will be required for every hour of credit per semester. The student will complete necessary paperwork with the employer and the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. The student's work will be supervised by the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. A final paper will be prepared at the conclusion of the internship.
