RDSC 410 - Radiologic Science Externship

(0-40-15) Students must complete four terms (12 months) of clinical experience in both general radiography and special imaging modalities, to include computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and/or cardiovascular interventional technology at an affiliated clinical site. Students will complete all phases of general radiography and a maximum of 12 weeks in the special imaging modalities. Students under the direct supervision of qualified radiographers and radiologists. Prerequisites: All academic coursework in the Radiologic Science curriculum.
