(1-6-3) Study and application of surveying principles relative to route design including boundary surveys, map projections, remote sensing, coordinate geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment and earthwork calculations. Hand computations to develop theoretical understanding with emphasis on Land Development Desktop for design purposes. Prerequisites: CIV 112, GME 161 with grade "C" or better.
