Natural history and classification of the vertebrate classes. Use of taxonomic keys and field guides for identification will be covered. Life history, reproduction, behavior, and adaptation will be discussed. Emphasis on local fauna whenever possible. Lecture, laboratory, and fieldwork. Some overnight trips may be required.
