This course explores the role of printmaking within the discourse of contemporary art and culture. It serves as an introduction to the latest printmaking technology, including that of digital and photo sensitive plates, as well as non-toxic printmaking techniques. The course is divided between screenprinting, lithography, and intaglio and incorporates digital-imaging and color separation. 3 credits (R,E).
