This course immerses students in the living culture of China's art, religion, and architecture, which will allow them to mine these experiences as a base from which to create art. The primary focus is to introduce art and architecture within the context of China's spirituality and philosophy. The influence of rituals within the arts and crafts of these countries' living history will be examined. SEE TRAVEL COURSE SECTION FOR OFFICIAL REGISTRATION PROCEDURES. TRAVEL TO CHINA REQUIRED. (E).
