Nurtures the development of a coherent body of work based on sophisticated techniques and a maturing sense of aesthetic direction. The course stresses the importance of drawing, model making, and journals to the creative process. Through assigned projects and workshops, students work with faculty to develop a personal body of work that represents depth and breadth of exploration of the ceramics medium. Group and individual discussions emphasize the development of critical vocabulary along with advanced technical exploration. Prerequisite:CER202 and CER203. Prerequisites: take 3DCR450 Type: hybrid studio/critique(5 hrs Culturally Diverse Content Enrollment: departmental required
